U.S.-Led Joint Criminal Enterprise

Former President of the Serbian Republic in Bosnia-Herzegovina Radovan Karadžić said that U.S. government, in collusion with other countries, was supplying arms to Bosnian Muslims, one of the warring parties in the Bosnian civil war (1992-1995), in violation of the United Nations arms embargo.

American Congress investigation showed that between 1993 and 1995 the administration of then-U.S. president Bill Clinton held discussions on at least three occasions with State Department officials, requesting that Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan funnel machine guns, missiles and other weapons to Bosnia’s Muslim-led government, Karadžić said in his submission to the NATO court in Hague, Netherlands. [Note for the linked article about the U.S. nighttime flights delivering arms and military equipment to Bosnian Muslim forces: Tuzla is not in Croatia, as the author mistakenly wrote, but in Bosnia and Herzegovina, only some 120 kilometers away from Srebrenica, where Naser Orić’s thugs were based.]

Karadžić requested that tribunal seeks documents about the illegal transfers of weapons and ammunition to Bosnian Muslims from the Pakistani government, since Pakistan has not responded to three of his requests already issued through their Netherlands embassy.

According to the data gathered by Dr. Karadžić, Pakistan had sent 6,000 soldiers to Bosnia during the war (1992-1996), to serve under the UN peacekeeping umbrella (United Nations Protection Force, UNPROFOR), which enabled them to supervise and assist illegal transfers of weapons to the Muslim troops in Bosnia, as corroborated by the Netherlands government reports, which confirmed UNPROFOR’s involvement in the arms smuggling operations during Bosnia-Herzegovina war.

On at least one occasion, in January 1993, Pakistanis were caught red-handed, when a Pakistani ship that was transporting 10 containers of weapons designated for Izetbegović’s forces was intercepted in the Adriatic sea. Netherlands government was repeatedly reporting about Pakistan’s involvement in smuggling weapons to Bosnian Muslims.

Karadžić requested documentation from Pakistani government about communications with the governments of United States, Great Britain, France, Germany, Croatia and Bosnian Muslim leadership in regards to supplying weapons to Bosnian Muslim forces from 1 April 1992 to 31 December 1995, which demonstrates those governments were fully aware and approved Pakistani arms smuggling operations.

He also requested reports about the activities of Pakistani troops within UNPROFOR, meetings between the Pakistan representatives and Bosnian Muslim leaders in relation to illegal weapons supplies, and documentation about the intercepted Pakistani ship carrying 10 containers of arms and ammunition to Bosnia, as well as the cargo manifest and payment receipts.

Bosnian Serb leader stated the requested documents will help him repudiate charges in the indictment which accuse him of being a part of a “joint criminal enterprise”, allegedly bent on exterminating Bosnian Muslims in the town of Srebrenica.

These documents show that military operations in this enclave were entirely justified due to continuous illegal arms supplies, since Serbian civilians were a target of bloody raids by the Muslim troops stationed in Srebrenica throughout the war, Karadžić said.

Documents such as these clearly prove that the actual joint criminal enterprise, led by United States and involving other NATO states in collusion with several Middle-Eastern countries, was working to prolong the civil war in Bosnia, make the conflict bloodier and stage a fierce showdown in Srebrenica, by secretly arming Naser Orić’s troops stationed in the UN-protected zone which were ravaging surrounding Serb-populated villages in order to provoke response of the Bosnian Serb Army and instigate a final confrontation, as the culmination of the civil war in Bosnia, for which the Serbs would end up being blamed as the sole culprits.

Bin Laden-Linked Charity Front Funneled Billions of Dollars to Izetbegović’s Goons

According to President Karadžić, in addition to Pakistanis, Malaysian and Turkish troops within UNPROFOR were also involved in smuggling weapons to Bosnian Muslim forces during the Bosnian war.

The weapons Malaysian and Turkish UNPROFOR contingents illegally transferred to Bosnian Muslims in the amount of 2.5 billion dollars were smuggled through Sudanese Bin Laden-linked charity front headquartered in Vienna, Karadžić said in his submission to the Hague Tribunal.

In order to transfer weapons to Bosnian Muslims for Izetbegović’s jihad against the Bosnian Serbs, in spite of the UN embargo, Malaysian and Turkish UNPROFOR troops used the Third World Relief Agency (TWRA), founded in 1987 by a Sudanese national named Elfatih Hassanein, Karadžić said, requesting from tribunal to direct Malaysian government to submit documents regarding the weapons and ammunition smuggled to Bosnian Muslim forces during the war.

In his court submission, Karadžić noted that Sudanese fake charity agency (of which, according to Washington Post, Saudi Arabian government is the biggest contributor, but many other governments also give money to, such as Sudan, Iran, Pakistan, Brunei, Turkey, and Malaysia, in addition to Bin Laden) had organizational, logistic and financial ties with Bosnian Muslim leadership, including Bosnian Muslim war leader Alija Izetbegović, his deputy Ejup Ganić, his FM Haris Silajdžić, as well as the co-founder of Izetbegović’s SDA party, Hasan Čengić.

According to the report by the German federal police, based on documentation found in September 1995 during the search of Agency’s offices in Vienna, the Agency was used for smuggling machine guns, missiles and other weapons to Bosnian Muslim troops from 1992-1995, Karadžić noted.

He pointed out that UNPROFOR troops from other countries were fully aware of these illegal transfers of arms and ammunition but they, like American troops serving in Bosnia during the civil war, were ordered by their leadership to look the other way.

Dr. Karadžić’s submissions include the same requests issued to Turkish government.

Last week the Hague council of judges directed the governments of Austria and Italy to submit their documents about the illegal arms transfers in relation to the Bosnian civil war.

NATO Either Burns the Inconvenient Documents, or Forces its Secretary General to Eat Them

Meanwhile, President Karadžić revoked his earlier request to the Hague tribunal to seek pertinent documentation from NATO leadership, since NATO response to his initial request was a laconic claim that Western military alliance has “none of the documents” requested by Karadžić.

The information Karadžić requested in his June 2 letter, addressed to NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, was in regards to the NATO planes which were arriving to a no-fly zone in Tuzla from the military base in Vicenza (Italy) during the Bosnian civil war and about the persons responsible for supervising Tuzla no-fly zone from 10 February 1995.

Karadžić also requested copies of the correspondence between NATO and Turkey in relation to “Tuzla black flights” in the period from 10 February 1995 to 31 December 1996, NATO reports and correspondence from UNPROFOR, military observers, UNCHR (United Nations Commission on Human Rights) and non-government organizations operating in Bosnia during the civil war, from August 1992-1995, in regards to supplying Bosnian Muslim forces with weapons, ammunition and military equipment.

According to the evidence Karadžić intends to present in the course of the trial, members of the Norwegian UNPROFOR contingent and humanitarian workers have witnessed weapons being delivered to the Bosnian Muslim army at Tuzla airport in February and March 1995. Norwegian troops, which have notified their government about these covert missions, said that deliveries of the smuggled arms were supervised by the Americans wearing civilian garbs. The arrival of weapons-carrying planes to Tuzla no-fly zone was also witnessed by the British special troops (SAS) stationed in Tuzla.

In his submission to the council of judges, Karadžić stated he intends to intensify his efforts in requesting pertinent documents from individual NATO-member states.

All in all, the rigged trial of the former president of the Serb Republic is indeed promising to be the “trial of a century”. Just not in the sense NATO and Haris Silajdžić had hoped.
